Després dels reportatges publicats a mitjans nord-americans durant la setmana passada en què es donen proves de l'explotació dels empleats de Foxconn, diverses agrupacions de protesta han sorgit en contra de les activitats de la fàbrica taiwanesa.
Un grup de hackers, SwaggSec, va posar en perill la seguretat de Foxconn durant ahir. Els atacants van publicar a internet un comunicat demanant les millores de les condicions laborals de Foxconn i revelant noms d'usuaris i contrasenyes per accedir als servidors de la companyia. L'atac va arribar a afectar fins i tot el CEO de Foxconn, les dades del qual també van quedar exposades.
Foxconn es va afanyar a tancar tots els seus servidors en pocs minuts, quan l'equip informàtic es va adonar que milers de persones de tot el món estaven accedint a la seva informació.
La cosa no quedarà així. Encara falta veure si s'ha filtrat algun document de caràcter privat i si el grup de hackers torna a atacar la companyia.
