3 ways you'll save memory space with iOS 9

ios9-wwc2015

If you are one of those users who is seriously concerned about the amount of space that iOS versions take up on your device, one of the new features included in iOS 9 and that we have already mentioned is the weight of the new version. While the current one occupies about 4GB, iOS 9 will settle for just over 1GB depending on the device on which it is installed. Sounds good right? Well, it's actually even better, because iOS 9 presents up to three formulas to save space that will put an end to the storage memory problems of your iPhone.

Actually, iOS 9 brings three new features at the developer level that will allow users to save space when installing updates, apps and games. These could be summarized as: App Slicing, On Deamnd Resources and Bitcode. You have no idea what each thing is about? Do not worry, in the next paragraph we will explain it to you in detail.

The last one Bitcode, makes the application create a compilation before downloading any app that makes it more efficient for your kernel. The other two, App Slicing, On Demand Resources They work in the following way: the first one makes that instead of downloading all the versions available for the different Apple devices to use only one of them, through iTunes, only the software you need is downloaded. In this way, the space that everything else occupies in a totally useless way is saved. In the second case, we are talking mainly about games, since the function consists of downloading the content of the different levels as they are passed. Thus, in the first download, you will only have the first levels. These will automatically be erased and replaced by new ones as you progress through the playful content.

What do you think of the improvements of storage space including iOS 9?

The truth is that it is quite good, if it really occupies a gig and a peak, it is appreciated on my iPhone 6 with 16 gigs! Also the games will not require more space !! It is very much appreciated !!

Anything to optimize storage space is welcome. But what iOS really needs is a system that allows you to clear the cache of apps without uninstalling them. I'm not talking about a file manager because I know that Apple is not, and will not be, willing to give up iTunes.

It is good news, especially for those of us who have little space, such as my case (8GB), now it will be rewarded by a few free gigs of the installation and presumably of the applications that free up space. Even in devices with little memory, in my case I have the iPhone Jailbreikeado and I have a Tweak that helps me to free cache from the menu of use of space in the applications, it is essential and if it were not for this fix I think my iPhone would be scarce of space, for those who wonder the Tweak is called "Cache Clearer" and it is essential, I recommend using it in conjunction with another app to free up space such as ICleaner and a backup support such as ICloud or Google Photos. Until today I hold the pull, but I will wait for the IOS9 Jailbreak to go to this one, I look forward to it.

There is something that is not very clear to me with this post, iOS 9 as such is only going to occupy 1Gb of memory or will it occupy 4gb + 1gb more?

I do not know how that memory is, yesterday I installed the beta of ios 9 in my 5s of 16 and I only had 11.3 gb of 12 available, before the 16 versions had 13 or up to 14 gb, maybe in the final version of ios 9 see that space is freed

I that that occupies a gig and little more, I'm eating the coconut does not fit me, it is a gig to be able to install iOS 9 (updates) or really IOS 9 is going to weigh a gig ... the poor guy is ... Because if it's true, I'd have another 6 gigs free to install more games ... Greetings!
