It was approximately 19:30 p.m. when we arrived at the Mall and entered the Home Center Sodimac store, to our surprise this time there was a lot of concurrence, so we armed ourselves with patience and proceeded to enter, we chose the products we needed and got ready to pay, arriving at the checkouts we looked at each other and we knew that this would take us a long time, considering the number of people, all the checkout boxes with endless lines.
While I was waiting for my turn to pay, my friend was waiting for his turn in another box, to see which one progressed faster, finally his box flowed faster, so I gave the products to him so that he could make the payment, while I would wait for him in outside the store.
A few minutes passed and my friend left the store and we went to the parking lot to load our things and go to eat at the AutoMAc. And at this precise moment the magic happens with the Airtag.
We were about to leave the Mall and I received an alert on my cell phone, as usual thinking that it was possibly an email or a WhatsApp.

This effectively was no longer in my pants and I remember that a subject among the whole sea of people collided with me, this taking advantage of my distraction took my wallet from my pants without being able to perceive it, it turned out to be a "spear" (criminal).
I quickly proceeded to open the Find application so that it would indicate the location of the Airtag that I put inside my wallet, the application told me that it was 150 meters away inside the Home Senter Sodimac store, therefore we returned with my friend and activate the Search application, it indicates with arrows and the distance to walk, when I was close to entering the store, about 30 meters my IPhone detected the Airtag signal, at that moment I breathed again, I knew I had a few meters to go to retrieve my wallet, I continued walking until I reached a local service desk and the iPhone notified me that it was there, I checked with the attendant and indeed she had my wallet, someone found it on the ground and I leave it in customer service.
Unfortunately the criminal took my cash but at least he deigned to leave the rest of my things, most importantly I recovered my driver's license, identification card, bank cards etc., it really is a headache and costs to renew them.
In conclusion, since the iPhone notified me of the loss of my wallet, until it was recovered, it did not take more than 5 minutes.
I must admit that for me it was an eternity, full anxiety level.
I insist, I can say with total seriousness that I was able to recover my stolen wallet in just 5 minutes thanks to Airtag, and save myself all the trouble of renewing my documents.
It is an instrument that I recommend 100% or 1000%, a very good investment, it allowed me to go to eat quietly, get home and sleep in peace, and not with a lump in my throat and an upset stomach thinking that I had lost everything. … ..
