Apple launches Adaptive Audio, a machine learning boost for AirPods

Apple also wanted to have a space for AirPods at WWDC2023. Has been launched adaptive audio, a great conglomeration of functions for the headphones based all of them on machine learning, detection of environments and personalization of situations. All these functions are aimed at reducing the sound from outside, to improve the audio in each situation and to adapt to our tastes depending on the external conditions in which we find ourselves.

Machine learning comes to AirPods with Adaptive Audio

Through a visual example, Tim Cook's team have presented adaptive audio, a new way to play content on our AirPods. with this mode noises are automatically reduced when we are listening to music which allows us to "increase concentration" according to Apple. Also built into this feature set is Custom Volume, capable of modify the volume according to listening preferences of external conditions. AirPods listen and interpret, then modify their parameters to improve our user experience.

is also released speech recognition, a function that automatically downloads the music from our AirPods when we start having a conversation with someone without having to interact with our iPhone. The same goes for calls that reduce surrounding sound if we are in a noisy environment and we can even silence ourselves if we see that the noise is still a lot heard.
