Apple acquires wireless charger company PowerbyProxi

The vice president of hardware engineering, Dan Riccio, has made this acquisition public in an interview with the Stuff website located in New Zealand. Riccio explained that the entire PowerbyProxi team will become part of Apple to create new wireless devices. Furthermore, he has stated that Apple is working to offer a simple charging system for everyone.

PowerbyProxi founder Fayd Mishriki says the company is excited to join Apple's workforce, stating that the two companies are very clear about their values. In recent years, PowerbyProxi has obtained a large number of international investments in addition to receiving different accolades for the development in the wireless charging standard.
