Apple disables iPhones looted during protests

If Apple controls something is its own devices, the Cupertino company has always been very suspicious of both the software and the hardware it mounts, and therefore has control of them perhaps somewhat higher than we could imagine. This makes stealing an iPhone from anyone an absurd move, since it is usually blocked as soon as it connects to the internet, so it could not be less with the iPhone from the Apple Store.

Apple is locating and blocking all the devices that have been looted during the riots in the United States America, a reminder that stealing is never excusable.

Apple is, has been and will always be a company committed to inequalities, however, that does not mean that it does not protect its properties with the weapons that the law confers on it. TOTaking advantage of the unfortunate incident that has generated waves of protests in the United States of America, many criminals outside the cause and who do not do any good to its defenders are taking advantage to loot various stores with products that are not essential, an example is that of the robberies that they are suffering in different Apple Stores in the United States States of America.

However, Apple has more than controlled these devices and is proceeding to locate and lock them remotely. Although these have a demo software version, they can be put into DFU mode and a fully functional iOS version installed. Despite this, Apple locates them online and includes a message that refers to the Apple Store from which it was stolen, asking please that it be returned, since the terminal has been disabled and is being located remotely to alert the authorities.

I find this news regrettable. Apple has had no interest in preventing the theft of its terminals. Proof of this is that when you are interested you can do it. How many iPhones have been stolen in the world? I know with a few
