All smartphones and in general any device that is powered by batteries is susceptible to catching fire, exploding or slowly starting to burn from the inside while giving off smoke. The case of Samsung is one of the most serious that we have seen so far, at least in terms of mobile device manufacturer. Every year we echo the occasional terminal that has exploded, caught fire ... as a general rule the manufacturer always claims that the problem is due to not using the original charger, but not always, as has happened with the Note 7, which has led the company to have to stop production until they find the source of the problem.
Today we show you two iPhone 6s Plus cases that have caught fire in the past week. In the first place we speak Yvette Estrada, who affirms that at night before going to sleep she put the iPhone 6s Plus to charge next to the Apple Watch that during the night a fire was set. Thanks to the smoke detectors they realized and were quickly able to take the device into the kitchen to turn them off at the sink. After going to an Apple Store, the Cupertino-based company kept the terminal to investigate the causes of the problem and offered him a new one as a replacement.
The second case is found in the one studying Darin Hlavaty, who affirms that with the device battery completely drained, he placed the terminal in the back pocket of his pants and it suddenly began to give off smoke before catching fire. Before it began to burn Darin had enough time to be able to remove it from his pants and throw it on the ground.
The cases mentioned here were iphone 6 plus, not 6s plus, at least that's what I read days ago on other sites.
Well, I just read the news last night and after checking it affirms that it was with the iPhone 6s Plus, not with the previous model. Either source must be wrong.
Whatever model it is, it is a shame, we risk physicality, if it is without sequelae, a house can burn, and with bad luck many things can happen
