After yesterday they published three ads about him iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, in which we could see how "Hey Siri" and the cameras and video cameras work, Apple today published a new ad. This time they have focused on something that also appeared in yesterday's longest announcement, that of the cameras, to see how interesting the live Photos although, it must be said, reproducing what they do in this ad would not be, far from it, easy.
Half court
In this ad, which they have named "Half Court" (center of the field), we can see the player of the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry, throw the ball from the center of the field and shoot it. And not only that, but he is not looking towards the basket in the initial moment, so he must make a 90º turn and then shoot. But, to make the Live Photo more funny, Curry does not see if the ball goes in or not, if not that he turns looking at the iPhone and knows that he has made the basket because of the shouts of his teammates.
Although the ad has a duration of 15 seconds, most likely they were trying for a long time until they managed to capture the moment in a "live photo." Live Photos record a total of 3 seconds, 1,5 seconds before and after the capture, so not only is the shot difficult, but also to capture the moment. If they told me that the final photo is faked, I would believe it.
Live Photos was one of the points that improved in iOS 9.1. In the list of changes it says that now it does not record when we raise or lower our hand after taking the photo, but it also gives the feeling that it records longer than before or that it did not look as good as it does now.
