We introduce you August Smart Lock: one more bet to forget about the keys of a lifetime. It is a Electronic lock that unlocks the doors of our houses just by bringing the mobile phone closer. This home accessory was created by Jason Johnson and industrial designer Yves Behar, but it won't be released until the end of the year.
En Actualidad iPhone we recently showed you a similar idea called unikey, but the main difference that we find between this project and August Smart Lock is that the latter sports a more modern design with a "digital" touch. The creators of August Smart Lock ensure that their digital proposal is compatible with 90% of the locks that currently exist on the market. Plus, the August Smart Lock leaves the cables behind (it's all built into the interior).
UniKey allowed us to create digital keys to give access to our house to friends, the gardener or the cleaning service. August Smart Lock allows you to do exactly the same. Through the corresponding application you can create encrypted digital keys to send to the person who needs it.
The easy-to-install lock will communicate with our iPhones through Bluetooth.
