Apparently the general delay has been due to the Ikea guys adding new functions to these new smart blinds:

At IKEA we always want to offer the best possible product to our customers. The delay is due to the fact that we found an opportunity to increase the functionality and therefore we wanted to update the software of the products before launching the blinds in our stores.
