Google's bad practices cost $ 5.000 billion

Maybe yesterday you will spend the day sleeping, or in a cave, I do not judge you, but it is difficult or almost impossible that you did not find out about the topic of the day, and that is that the European Union has decided to put a good fine on Google, the company of "Don't be evil" for their bad arts.

There had been controversy for some time about the way in which European legislation is constantly being vilified by large firms such as Google or Apple, and this time it has been the Android parent company. That is how the European Union has ended up imposing a fine on Google that exceeds 5.000 million dollars.

The European Commission has estimated that Google has made deals with manufacturers based on their position of superiority, the intention, how could it be otherwise, was none other than favor the proliferation of its own applications in the terminals of different brands, applications that are not necessarily linked to the performance of Android such as Gmail. This inevitably reminds us of that fine that was also imposed on Microsoft in its day in response to the obligation to install Internet Explorer in Windows natively and that ended up resulting in a different version of Microsoft's operating system that excluded its browser and its Media player.

The basis of the claim is based on the fact that Google Chrome is an explorer present in the terminals of Samsung, Huawei and HTC although these brands have their own versions, so it is unnecessary to include a browser from another company. Even so, the Commission has urged Google to cease its monopolistic practices in the next ninety days or it will proceed to progressively increase the penalty imposed from 5%. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has commented that Android terminals are sold with a good range of applications from various developers, not just Android. However, the monopoly practice is unequivocal and irrefutable. It is not the first encounter between the European Union and Google for this type of bad practice, nor does it look like it will be the last.

Without bad intentions, I am happy, because every time I change my mobile or I have to root it or I have to disable those applications to not use them (which are MANY), but there are users who are the vast majority of basic level who do not know much about technology And they have those apps that they don't use, taking up a lot of memory, which to top it all off, low-end or mid-range mobiles pean, and spending data with constant updates.

It was about time, they should, send an update to delete them (to amend a little ... ..)
