Matt Dillon joins Patricia Arquette in the cast of High Desert for Apple TV +

Apple announced last September a new series for Apple TV +, High Desert, a series that will star Patricia Arquette and that in recent days has expanded its cast by adding Matt Dillon, Bernadette Peters and Christine Taylor among others according to the boys of Variety.

In addition to the recognized actors who are part of the cast, Behind the cameras there are also familiar faces such as Ben Stiller as executive producer, a position he shares with Patricia Arquette. The High Desert series tells the story of a former addict who wants to become a private investigator.

Peggy, the role played by Patricia Arquette, is a former addict who decides to start over after the death of her mother, with whom she lived in the small and desert town of Yucca Valley, California, and makes the decision to become a private investigator.

Matt dillon, will play the role of Denny, Peggy's ex who is on probation. Bernadette Peters will play Rosalyn, Peggy's mother while Christine taylor is Dianne, Peggy's sister who does her best to put Peggy's vine in order.

At the moment it is not known when the production work will begin, much less the expected release date on Apple TV.

According to some specialized media, this new series could become another of the most representative titles of Apple TV + on the same level as Ted Lasso and The Morning Show, although the latter has not had the media success that Apple expected from it.
