Neither front nor back, the iPhone 8 could lack Touch ID

For all tastes, so are the rumors that appear around the fingerprint sensor, Touch ID, of the iPhone 8. On the front of the device integrated into its screen or on the back just below Apple's apple feature for those (few) who prefer it in that position. But in case there are still people who are not convinced of either of those two locations, now they directly eliminate it. That's what Andy Hargreaves says.

We have previously mentioned the alleged problems in the manufacture of the iPhone 8 due to the fingerprint sensor integrated into the OLED screen, and how they would be causing more than one headache for Apple due to the fact that the manufacturing rate with that sensor would not be as desired, which could cause a delay in the launch or even a change of location. Well, according to this analyst, Apple could do without Touch ID completely, an option that seems the least likely of the three given the importance that Touch ID has reached on the iPhone and its inclusion even on Macs after the launch of the new MacBook Pro.

Remove Touch ID on iPhone 8 and keep it on iPhone 7s and 7s Plus? It seems an unlikely scenario, even more so if we take into account that perhaps the following year when they solve the manufacturing problems they would add it again. The readers have already expressed your opinion on twitter and in the comments to the article we published about the possible location of the sensor in the rear, and it is clear that few (rather no one) like that idea. But what about its elimination? Facial recognition is proven not enough, and we do not know if Apple will use an Iris scanner on the iPhone 8. We can only say: "Place your bets."

Some time ago I read a rumor that Apple was looking to scan the fingerprint anywhere on the screen. Could it be that they already achieved it? and that's why the new iPhone is coming without the man button and the touch ID

This seems unlikely. iPhone without Touch ID is not the same.

I think that removing it would be an even worse idea than placing it on the back, I think that Apple knows that yes or if they are going to have to place it inside the screen, there is a lot of expectation of a failure and Samsung would be the one that would benefit

Too late to turn back. More and more apps use Touch ID. Not only that:

    And Apple Pay?
Where would it be without the sensor?

Sometimes some analysts go off topic...

It's been years and I mean years... why has an i8 with home integrated into its screen been rumored for more than one, could it be that they haven't had time to implement Touch ID on its screen? I doubt it! And a lot, Apple has had more than PLENTY of time! Thinking a little is not bad, this 2016 played a new design etc etc. They released the same design with two more bullshit, you still tell me they haven't had time? 3 years with the same design, honestly Apple has to bring all its innovation in this supposed i8 or I'll switch directly to the competition, they'll know what they want this year... lose a lot of customers or go back to being what they were in their day, but For me... if they don't innovate this 2017, they've run out of ideas and the only thing they have is a name and that's it!
