Apple TV + debuts a new psychological thriller today. Written and directed by Sigal Avin and starring Israeli actress Ayelet Zurer, «Losing Alice»Tells the story of a film director (Alice) and her obsession with a young screenwriter named Sophie.

The series is an exciting cinematic journey that uses flashbacks and flash-forwards in a satisfyingly complex narrative that takes the viewer through the conscious and subconscious mind of its protagonist Alice.

The plot of the series explains how the protagonist, Alice (played by Ayelet zurer), a 48-year-old film director, feels irrelevant and useless since she left the cinema to be with her family. After a brief encounter on a train, he becomes obsessed with a 24-year-old screenwriter, Sophie (played by Lihi kornowski), and ultimately gives up his moral integrity to achieve power, relevance and success.

Through Alice's personality, the series explores issues such as jealousy, guilt, fear of aging, and the complex relationships that women have with each other. An intriguing thriller that will not leave you indifferent.
