As the days go by, they discover new features that Apple did not announce at WWDC 2021, functions that although it is true are not interesting for the general public, if they can be for certain users. One of these curious functions is found in the Photos application.
The Photos application with iOS 15, allows us access EXIF data for images that we have stored in our device along with the information of where the capture was made (if it includes GPS data) in addition to other data. In addition, it also allows us to know how they have reached our reel.
Surely on more than one occasion, when you are reviewing your photo album, you wonder how some photos or videos got there. With iOS 15, you can quickly and easily know the origin of these images.
As we can see in the image above, among the metadata that Apple offers us of all the photographs we store, their origin is also shown. In the case of the image above, we can see how eThe source of this image is the Safari application.
When clicking on Safari, the application will show all images that come from the same source. Hopefully this function also recognizes all the images and videos that are stored on our device and that come from WhatsApp.
A function that will undoubtedly be appreciated by all those users who have not established the manual saving of images and videos within the options of this messaging application, since it will allow you to delete them all together and free up a large amount of space.
At the moment iOS 15 is only available for developers. It will not be until July, as confirmed by Apple, when the first beta is launched for all those users who are part of the Apple's public beta program.
