The first beta of tvOS 15.2 is now available for developers

Apple took advantage of yesterday afternoon (Spanish time) to launch tvOS 15.2 and macOS 12.1 Monterey Betas. In both cases it is the first beta and it will be the next big update that both Apple TV and compatible Macs that have already been updated to Monterey receive.

Unlike macOS 12.1, where Apple still doesn't introduce SharePlay or Universal Control functionality, SharePlay if available since the release of tvOS 15.1, a feature that is also working on iPhones and iPads that have been updated to iOS 15.1.

Developers who want to download this new beta must download the Apple TV profile using Xcode if they don't have it installed yet. Users who are part of the Apple TV public beta program will have to wait a few days to install it.

At the time of publishing this article, Apple has not yet published the news that is included in this beta, but taking into account the few new features that have arrived with tvOS 15.0, little or nothing can be expected in terms of functions, not in terms of performance, security and stability improvements.

When will the user accounts in tvos?

As I have mentioned, tvOS 15 is the operating system that has evolved the least every year. It seems incredible that Apple continue without entering a user account system in tvOS, a user account system similar to the one that we can find, for example, in the Amazon Fire Sticks.

In this way, we can limit access to platforms and / or content for adults offered by platforms such as Netflix, HBO, Disney + and others. without having to be aware of whether the child changes to our account on these platforms.
