The HomePod will arrive in Spain on October 26

The Kyenote presentation of the new iPhone has concluded with the three new Apple terminals and the Apple Watch Series 4 as the main protagonists, and the HomePod, Apple's speaker, its great commitment to virtual assistants, worth only a few words at the end of the Keynote. Nothing has been said about its launch in more countries, nor about a possible update with more languages, including Spanish.

But when we lost all hope of having the HomePod in Spain it soon seemed that someone at Apple was aware and has appeared on the Apple Spain website, within the online Apple Store. We can finally buy the HomePod and use it in Spanish.

At the moment the HomePod cannot be reserved or purchased, with the purchase button shaded and inactive, and without any date that appears in the Apple Store online, at least for now. But if we go to the Apple Store iOS app, yes tells us when we can reserve the Apple speaker: October 26. Presumably, if that day can already be booked, it will also be available in Spanish to be able to use it. At the moment we do not have official information from Apple about this launch nor do we know what other countries will be able to reserve it on that date, but it is likely that we will have all the information soon.

Its price will be € 349 with taxes already included, and it will also be available in white and space gray, as we expected. With the arrival of iOS 12 the HomePod will include software innovations such as possibility of receiving and making calls, compatibility with Shortcuts to customize Siri, search for songs through their lyrics, etc. This will be through an update that we assume will come from the hand of the new languages for the Apple smart speaker. We will be attentive to the details that appear on the Apple website.
