This is how the first prototypes of the Apple Watch were

A product like the Apple Watch is not born overnight, it is a device that has broken paradigms, while other brands focused on bracelets with two-color screens or watches that were a mere notifier, Apple wanted to put an iPhone in your doll… and boy did he get it!

However, it is clear that the Apple Watch had a tortuous development path. This process sometimes comes to light, like that Nintendo PlayStation that was auctioned recently. This time it seems that we have in view for the first time some prototypes of the Apple Watch manufactured a year before its launch, what do you think?

En Vice They have had access to these prototypes, owned by Giulio Zompetti, a 27-year-old Italian who acquired them and plans to auction them later. In these prototypes you will find things that have remained afterwards such as the side button, the wheel or the strap locks, but many changes both in the silkscreen and in the box that houses the heart rate sensors. Curiously, you can see the logo of the Star Wars Death Star, something already seen previously in Apple prototypes. Obviously not all of them are in good condition, some are presented without elements such as the screen.

You can access the website of Vice to see the full report. We do appreciate the three colors in the prototypes, but it's funny to see the «Lorem ipsum ...» on the back, which many of you will know is a test text that is usually included in editors text to check operation. Many of these devices have large breaks, cracked cases and derivatives that clearly seem to come from the stress tests carried out on the terminals to verify their reliability, without a doubt a piece of Apple history.
