Twitter hires ex-Apple employee Jeffrey Siminoff

Twitter

Twitter just made a final addition for 2015, Jeffrey Siminoff is now the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion as announced by the Twitter HR team and himself on his Twitter. Enter the little heavenly bird's social network to replace Janet Van Buysse, who had been doing this commendable job at the company for no less than six years. Mr. Siminoff had held the same position as Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion for Morgan Stanley until 2013 where he decided to go to work for Apple as Deputy Director of the same labor branch, until now.

With an impeccable career in this field, from 1992 to 1999 he was a famous lawyer in a major firm. Jeffrey Siminoff was closely linked to supporting women in the various sectors of work at Apple, as well as being one of the founders of an LGBT organization called Out Leadership.

Everyone has an important role in terms of diversity. At Apple, we know that inclusion and harmony in this area inspires innovation, and all of us, both men and women, can and must find a way to inspire women and girls to pursue studies and careers in the technology field. Your perspective on innovation can make us stronger and help us create better products. I am proud to be one of the many leaders at Apple who are actively working to make women equal to men in the world of technology and achieve their career goals.

Jeffrey Siminoff graduated from Duke University and has been awarded multiple times for his achievements in workplace equality across the board. Undoubtedly all large companies require people like Siminoff to achieve real and effective equality, and it is that these large companies are the mirror in which the small ones must look at themselves in order to achieve their objectives.
