WhatsApp has almost ready a new update of the application for iOS with which finally you will be able to listen to the voice notes and at the same time continue browsing other chats, even exit the app without stopping listening.
WhatsApp voice notes are becoming more and more popular. Although many of us still find it difficult to assume it, it must be recognized that voice notes are a useful communication tool that allows you to transmit long messages quickly, or in situations where you cannot stop to write. One of the reasons why listening to those voice memos is so annoying to many (at least for me) is the fact that you have to leave the phone unused for the duration of the voice memo. You cannot leave WhatsApp, you cannot even leave the conversation where the voice note is and enter another to continue reading other messages. The moment you play something, the voice note stops and you have to hit play again to play it. Another reason is that those voice notes cannot be heard from the Apple Watch, which does not even have an application for WhatsApp yet, while the messages you can see on its screen.
Well, the second problem at the moment has no solution on the part of Facebook, owner of WhatsApp, since there is no news of an application for Apple Watch, and that of iPad we are still waiting patiently. But at least Now we can continue using WhatsApp while we listen to a voice note thanks to the new player that is already available to some in the Beta of WhatsApp and that we hope will soon be available to all users in the official version. With this player we can leave the current conversation, move to another, write messages, even leave WhatsApp, and all this without stopping listening to the voice note that we were playing. A very welcome feature by many and one that we hope does not take too long to be available to everyone.
