WhatsApp has never been up to standard when it comes to features that their rivals offer, that's not up to now, Telegram and even FB Messenger (which is from the same company) work simultaneously and multi-device without outdated mechanisms, basically because they work "in the cloud." However, it seems that WhatsApp is close to catching up.
According to a recent leak, WhatsApp is preparing a cloud and cross-platform operation system similar to Telegram that will be launched soon. And honestly, I do not see the moment that WhatsApp finally implements these functions that allow us to log in quickly and easily on other devices.
Has been once more in the portal WaBetaInfo where information about the new WhatsApp features has been shared. This ability has previously reached iOS users in a beta state, however, it will be available for iOS and Android. This will allow users to connect the same session even simultaneously on different devices and not as before, that WhatsApp uses our server smartphone and it replicates the content on other screens, but in reality if the mobile device does not receive the messages, we will not see them on the PC or Mac either.
This brings WhatsApp closer to the iPad and the Mac, being able to install independent applications as we already do directly with Telegram, maintaining synchronized and instant conversations in the cloud. Another decisive section is that in this way we will never lose our chats and photographs because they will be permanently on the server in addition to on our device. Definitely this had to come sooner or later, and for now we are going to stay quite alert to be able to inform you instantly when this ability is enabled for all users, how welcome will WhatsApp for iPad be.
