YouTube Premium is YouTube's paid subscription service to enjoy all its content without ads, download videos to watch them offline, in the background (or just audio) and that, in addition, includes a subscription to YouTube Music, with a separate application equivalent to Spotify or Apple Music.

The normal price (purchased through the YouTube website, not from the application) is € 11,99 per month and a family rate of € 17,99 per month. The price for students is only € 6,99 per month And, if this is the first time that we subscribe to YouTube Premium, we will have a free trial month.
When selecting the student plan we must verify our student status through SheerID. If our university or study center is within those supported by the verification system, we will only have to log in with our student account (it is not necessary that the email is the same that we use for YouTube Premium). Otherwise, we must provide the documentation that accredits us as students and it would take more time. Student status lasts one year, after which we will have to verify it again.
