However, our happiness can turn to fear if what happened to a family in DeKalb County in Georgia (United States) happens to you. The little 7 years old accidentally swallowed a right AirPod. They had been at his house for a few days since it had been a gift that he had opened a few days ago. Fortunately, the boy is fine and no intervention was required.

The right AirPod was naturally ejected

The event occurred in Dekalb County in Georgia. The boy's mother was working when she received a call from her mother saying she was going to the ER because his grandson had swallowed an AirPod. The mother went directly to the hospital and the doctors assured that there was no problem, that none of the child's functions had been compromised. The family assured that the small device was visible on the X-ray plate and was seen just below the rib cage.

Doctors did not advise any intervention except wait for the right AirPod was expelled naturally by the 7-year-old.
