If you read us daily, you will surely know that Foxconn is one of the main ones, if not to say, the only manufacturer dedicated to assembling parts for Apple iPhones. But it is not only dedicated to assembling the different pieces that compose it but also, within its limitations, it is dedicated to manufacturing some of the components in direct competition with Samsung, especially if we talk about the processors of the iPhone and iPad. rather, it intends to compete with TSMC and Samsung in the manufacture of the processors that they incorporate.

This sunday night a fire has broken out at Foxconn's factory in Zhengzhou used for the assembly of the parts that make up the iPhone. Apparently the fire started on Sunday night, although fortunately it was quickly controlled by the city fire department and the damage has not been too high for what it could have been if the response of the fire department had not been so quick and effective.

Fortunately this fire has not caused personal injury despite the big explosion that originated the fire, a fire that Foxconn says will not affect the production of new iPhone models or any other company with which the Chinese company regularly works. not the first setback Apple has faced in its relationship with Foxconn. In 2011, an explosion at the Foxconn factory where the iPad was assembled caused the death of three workers and XNUMX others who were injured.

The working conditions of Foxconn workers have always been the subject of controversy and to try to wash their image in the face of their customers, Foxconn is building a new factory that will allow anyone visit to check the conditions in which your employees work so that once and for all, doubts about labor exploitation and children are no longer related to the company.

Ignacio made a mistake, the processors as I understand them are manufactured by TSMC, Foxconn is the one that is mainly responsible for assembling all the components to assemble an iPhone completely, if it manufactures any component for Apple that I do not know anymore, but the processors I think not, greetings, and thanks for the news, no other blog has mentioned it 🙂

Completely agree. You are right it is TSMC who manufactures them. My cables have become tangled.
      Thanks for pointing.
