Well, I've already seen it all. In today's bizarre news story, a man by the name of Randy Liedtke set out to do a little experiment: he would drive down the street. talking to an iPhone cookie. The plan was to get a police officer to stop him and ask if the cookies are illegal. All in all a way to be funny and stay relevant on twitter.
The plan worked, Randy made several iPhone-shaped cookies and tweeted the entire incident. Although of course, the incident was tweeted with a real iPhone with which it can be said that it was in fact breaking the law beyond annoying the Los Angeles authorities. Interestingly it took a long time to be noticed by the police and in fact deliberately had to pass a patrol car so that the authorities finally realized that he was "on the phone."
When the police officer finally stopped him, Randy bit into his iPhone cookie to confuse the police officer who didn't understand what was happening. Then the police officer entered his patrol car and asked Randy to stay still. He immediately returned to tell her that he had a few unpaid parking tickets and asked her to accompany him to headquarters. When he gets to headquarters Randy posts a picture of himself with some kind of warrant and writes one last time; «It wasn't worth it, I'm an idiot… No more iPhone cookies«.
