A new tweak will allow us to enjoy 3D Touch on old iPhone

Touch 3D

One of the main novelties regarding the new iPhone models that we could see in the last keynote is the 3D Touch, called Force Touch on the Apple Watch. 3D Touch is a new system that detects the intensity of pressure on the screen to offer different options. For example, in the header image if we press more intensely on the Camera application, a drop-down menu will appear where we can open the application directly to record a video, make a Time-Lapse, take a photo for Instagram ... all without having than navigate the application menus.

Being a system built into the screen, all older devices, including iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus cannot use this new feature. If we want to enjoy this function we have two solutions: buy a new iPhone or wait for the developer Elias Limneos to launch a tweak that will allow us to do so without having to press more or less force on the screen of our device.

In the video that we show you at the top of these words, you can see how this new tweak works, which although it is true is still in development, it will allow us to perform almost the same functions as the 3D Touch implemented in new iPhone models with Retina HD display. As I have commented above, this tweak will not differentiate according to the pressure, but when clicking on the icons of the applications where they can be configured, it will offer us several options, initially predetermined, to access them directly without having to open the application and navigate through the different menus.

If you like Jailbreak and you were thinking of changing devices mainly for this reason, it may not be necessary. Yesterday we informed you that the Jailbreak for iOS 9 has already been carried out in the latest version of iOS 9, Golden Master version, so it is possible that if the developer hurries to finish the tweak, we can enjoy this new function nothing more The final version of iOS 16 will be released on September 9.

Thanks to the "jailbreak", 230.000 devices have been attacked, and their accounts stolen. This is what is achieved by breaking the security that the company gives, and everything to look like android. Let's hope Apple makes it impossible for the authors.

Why do you want them to make it impossible? Simply if you don't like it, like so many others, don't do it, but let the rest of us do what we want with our security. Thanks
