The startup Ringley presents us with a smart ring that connects to our iPhone. The idea behind this development is to cover the market for the thousands of women who miss important phone calls, messages or notifications because they do not listen to their phone, it turns off in their purse, or they cannot find it in their purse fast enough.
Ringly's solution is a ring that maintains a basic line to match and is not too flashy, but is actually a smart ring of high technology that is able to notify incoming calls, messages and much more.
The Ringly app (not yet available) will connect you to iOS and Android devices. Pairing is done through the Bluetooth LE. This application allows customize light and vibration patterns for the different types of notifications. These patterns apply when a message, a phone call, a calendar alert, an email entry, or a third party notification is notified, and it even warns when you move more than 10 meters away from the terminal, which helps not to forget it.
The ring battery has a duration three days after a full charge. The ring itself is made of 18 karat gold with semi-precious stones available in black onyx, emerald, pink sapphire, and rainbow moonstone.
Christina Mercado, co-founder and CEO of Ringly stated: «Our goal is to create products that are both stylish and useful, so that women will be proud to wear them. We believe that the future of w is based on the construction of a discreet technology that blends seamlessly into your life and make your day to day easier. The more I use my Ringly, the closer it gets to a figure of a personal assistant telling me what to do, plus it's a lot of fun to interact with my jewelry.»
Today Ringly launches its pre-sale campaign with a advance sale price of $ 145 for the ring. It will be available in sizes 6, 7 and 8.
