In the Mac App Store we can find a large number of applications compatible with both the Apple Pencil and the iPad Pro, a device with which we can get the most out of our Apple tablet. One of the applications that allows us to create practically anything that comes to mind, Affinity Photo, has just been updated adding different novelties among which we find Macro studio, the export in LUT as main novelties, offering even more options to all users of this fantastic application that has become a reference in the world of design.
Other what's new in this latest Affinity Photo update are:
- The Curves editor has been integrated into the histogram showing the intensity of the changes made.
- New brush tools and liquid effects have been added.
- New function that allows us to group or ungroup the layers by pinching on the screen.
- The final size of the application has been reduced to take up less space on our device.
- The performance of the application has been improved when we use large or complex files.
- The photo library now shows us all the users' albums and folders, allowing us to access all the content stored on our device.
Affinity Photo has a price of 21,99 euros and at the moment it does not seem that the developers have plans to change the current purchase system for a subscription one as some developers are getting used to us lately, a hobby that is not to the liking of most of users. The last application that has embraced this option has been Ulysses, a fantastic text editor whose decision has caused much controversy among users. Affinity Photo is only compatible with the iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and the new iPad 2017, so if you don't have any of these devices, don't bother buying it.
