After the purchase of Beddit, the sleep tracking service, Apple prepares to close its cloud

Many of you will already be enjoying your new Apple Watch, a new device that brings us great news especially focused on monitoring our day to day. And who knows if the next Apple Watch brings us news regarding the sleep tracking (or monitoring)We cannot forget that the guys from Cupertino acquired Beddit, one of the leading companies in this field, some time ago ...

Now it seems that Apple wants to start getting into Beddit, and it is that they have communicated that the data storage service in the Beddit cloud will close next November. After the jump we give you all the details of this operation that can give us information about Apple's plans with respect to Beddit ...

As we mentioned, the guys from Beddit, now together with Apple, are communicating the abandonment of their cloud, a service that closes on November 15 and who knows if this is part of Apple's plans to monitor our sleep. It is true that migration to iCloud of the entire Beddit database may make sense in all of this. Below you have the message that appears in the update log of the Beddit app, a message that, as we said, already warns us of the closure of the Beddit cloud:

With this update new users will no longer have access to Beddit Cloud. Former users will also no longer have access to Beddit Cloud as of November 15 of 2018.

We'll see if the kids on the block dare to add sleep tracking features on your devices, especially the Apple Watch (although you have to take into account the Battery drain that this can mean especially at night). Honestly, it is at least curious to me that they have not yet done so, but the purchase of Beddit is a sign that something has to arrive so we will be awaiting any news in this regard ...
