Again an error with iOS due to the time change

iOS Calendar bug

It has happened again, again there has been a error on iOS due to time change moving to winter time, after all this time, you might think that Apple would have found a way to properly fix such a basic feature, but apparently they haven't. It actually seems that these mistakes are repeated, as we have seen several previous cases that Apple's iOS operating system does not adequately adjust to weather changes, especially in 2010 and twice in 2011, where users who had their alarms programmed they stopped having them.

Some users from all over the world have reported yesterday and today that although the new time has been correctly adapted to the country's summer time change, there is still a small Visible bug in Calendar app of iOS. As shown in the image, the device has the time correctly changed, but in the Calendar the current time is shown in the following interval, that is, as if it had not yet been changed and it belonged to daylight saving time, more simply, iOS is showing the correct interval but still 'thinks' it is the above time.

The error occurs on both iPhone and iPad with iOS 7 installed, although it has not been verified if it also happens with iOS 6. But there are also many users among whom I find that the time error is not appreciated, so it may have been solved automatically or it may be due to the operator or the location. Although the failure exists, the operation of the alarms, calendar appointments or events, work correctly in their schedule, the failure is rather purely aesthetic when seeing the red dash with an hour that does not correspond to the real one of the interval.

It seems that the error can be solved next week, when in the United States the time change is made and perhaps iOS 7 is ready for this change and not ours. The most worrying thing is that neither then it would be solved or worsened, then the Cupertino company would be obliged to launch a new iOS software update to patch this new bug. It seems that Apple does not teach these silly mistakes, although of course, this seems to be less serious since no one is going to miss a notice for an appointment.

Has this error appeared to any of you with the iOS Calendar schedule?

It happened to me yesterday morning creating two events in the iCloud calendar from the PC. When viewing them on my iphone (iOS 7) and my wife's (iOS 6) they appeared "by magic" with an hour more.

To me, I do not have the automatic time update due to the battery saving issue, so at 12 at night I manually set 23 hours and I realized when I got up, because the alarm clock did not ring and I was almost late to work, that I had changed the date to Monday 28. I do not know if it is an error of ios or by chance of having changed the time at 12 at night.

I have not had any problems with the calendar, but with the weather app. That the "old" time keeps appearing. I do not know if it will be solved when in the United States they adjust their schedule.

I have not seen anything strange
I suppose it would have been something depending on the location where you are. I dont know

  12.   Manu said

Correct. I with ios 7.0.3 only fail in app time.
    The rest is correct.

Ami with an iPhone 4S and another iPhone 4, nothing has happened to me and I use the calendar of the two phones every day ... I suppose it would be a rather specific error ...

Will it depend on the country where one is? I am in the United States and I have not had that problem. Check with the schedule at 24 hours and 12 hours. I don't see the error. It would be good for those who write here and have that problem to say which country they are from to discard that question I asked.

    It solves itself 😀
