AirPods are the wireless headphones preferred by users but not for their sound quality

The AirPods have become the device with the most hype for the next Keynote on March 25. A device that Apple will probably renew and about which little is known regarding the new features that they may bring. Yes, they will bring the new wireless charging, but will we have new colors? Will they be waterproof?

What is clear is that Apple wants to go ahead with its wireless headphones, headphones that have undoubtedly become the company's best-selling device. You just have to go down to the subway of any city to see all those AirPods that are in people's ears. If they are the wireless headphones of choice for users, and we do not say so, a study has just been published confirming the preference of users for AirPods due to their portability, but not for its sound quality ...

The guys at Counterpoint have developed a survey in which they have asked about users' preference when it comes to using wireless headphones. The study was based on the preferences for ease of use and audio quality that users in the United States were looking for when using headphones with their devices. The ranking prepared by the guys from Counterpoint is as follows:

  • Apple: 19%
  • Sony: 17%
  • Samsung: 16%
  • Boss: 10%
  • Beat: 6%
  • Sennheiser: 5%
  • LG: 4%
  • Jabras: 2%

According to Counterpoint: Apple leads with its AirPods the category of wireless headphones due to its ease of use, comfort, adaptability and potabilityFor all this, Apple AirPods are chosen over other wireless headphones. Of course, the survey also shows that Bose headphones are preferred in terms of sound quality by 72% of respondents. We'll see if Apple releases the AirPods 2 in the next Keynote on March 25 and what news they bring so that the AirPods continue to cap these rankings. Personally, I have to say that I agree with the survey, and that the AirPods are probably the device with the best user satisfaction that I have come across in recent times.
