New rumor says "iPhone 6c" will arrive in spring

Many and varied are the rumors that speak of the iPhone 6c, but these rumors only have one point in common: it would be an iPhone with a four-inch screen. The last rumor before today we told you yesterday, and he told us about the possibility that this much rumored iPhone could arrive in February. They even told us about the price that this new iPhone would have, ranging between $ 400 and $ 500, a price that, after today's rumor, it is unlikely that we will see the moment arrive.

Why do I say that it is difficult for us to see that price? For several reasons. The first is the only precedent we have, an iPhone 5c that came with a much higher price than had been rumored. The second reason is that, as most analysts claim, the new iPhone would use a metal casing, which would give it a more premium feel than the iPhone 5c. In addition, the analyst who is most correct in his predictions, Ming-Chi Kuo says that this four-inch iPhone would have a hardware better than we thought until today.

IPhone 6s processor

The most notable novelty of today's report is that the iPhone 6c would have the same processor as the iPhone 6s, a A9 more powerful and efficient than the A8, a processor that the iPhone 6 uses and that the 6c was thought to use until today. Kuo doesn't say anything about the RAM this model would use, so it could use 1 or 2GB of RAM, but he does think that would not have a 3D Touch screen, which would allow the new full-size model to maintain a point of exclusivity. Yes, it would have the NFC chip to be able to pay with Apple Pay.

IPhone 6c design

In terms of design, the iPhone 6c would have the aforementioned metal casing and it would look a lot like the iPhone 5s, but with slightly more rounded edges. Kuo thinks that the design of the iPhone 6c would be halfway between the design of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 5s. It would be available in two or three colors, which would leave out the Rose Gold color, which I don't think is a good idea considering how well the new color has sold.

Launching early 2016

According to Kuo, the iPhone 6c will get on sale in March or April 2016. These dates coincide with some launches, such as the Apple Watch or the iPad before they went on sale in October. The analyst believes that around 20 million iPhone 6c will be sold until the end of the year, which would correspond to approximately 10% of the total sales of the apple smartphone.
