More valuable, more valued, better CEO, better image, higher market capitalization, more loved ... From the United States we regularly receive a series of classifications, some of them as striking as possible such as the most loved, which I will talk about in the next days, because there is also a ranking of the companies most estimated by users.
According to analytics firm Brand Finance, Amazon has overtaken Google and Apple as the most valuable brand in the United States. Apple continues for another year in second position, so the main affected by Amazon's position has been the search giant Google. As is customary in this type of ranking, 7 of the top 10 companies are technology companies.
According to this consultancy, both Amazon and Apple have experienced notable growth in recent months, but Amazon's has been higher. Amazon's brand value has grown 42% to $ 150.800 billion, while Apple's brand value has increased by 37% to $ 146.300 billion. Google's growth has been only 10% ($ 120.900 billion), which is why the company it has descended from the first position.
The ten most valuable companies in the United States are, according to their position in the rankings:
- Amazon
- Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),
- AT&T
- Microsoft
- Verizon
- Walmart
- Wells Fargo
- Chase
The methodology that Brand Finance uses to perform this classification is especially complicated and opaque. Brand Finance calculates brand values using the Royalty Relief approach, a brand valuation method that complies with the industry standards set out in ISO 10668, therefore has to be accepted by the industry yes or yes, even if only as an orientation method to find out which is the most valuable company in the world.
