Much has been said about a possible screen magnification on iPhone 6s, even my partner Juan has exposed a number of reasons why Apple should make the jump to 5 inches and Full HD resolution. They are very valid and natural reasons, however, do not dream about it.
Although there are rumors of an iPhone 6s of five inches, it would be the first time that Apple breaks its planning habitual and decides to modify the appearance of the iPhone in its version «s». Taking advantage of the design of the previous year is something we are already used to and that is that the second generation is "more of the same, but better".
I firmly believe that we won't see a 6-inch iPhone 5s but on the issue of resolution, I have doubts. Full HD is an industry standard and today, it doesn't make sense to use resolutions like the ones found on the iPhone 6.
The only reason that leads me to think that Apple will not give the iPhone 1080s 6P resolution is that if they make that change, the iPhone 6s Plus will be worse on a technical side with respect to the little brother (density of pixels per inch) and that could cannibalize the sales of the plus model (something that has already happened with the iPad Mini and therefore, the iPad Mini 3 does not suppose any renewal with respect to the iPad Mini 2, except for Touch ID).
Accessories manufacturers also have their singing voice. Every year they turn to Apple because it is a brand that in addition to selling a lot, its designs are long-lived and that saves production costs. Making a mold and keeping it for several years is always cheaper than modifying it annually.
Obviously, if an iPhone 6s comes out with a different shape or with slight changes, there is no choice but to adapt but Apple has been characterized as a very stable brand in this regard. How old is the design of the MacBook Air? How long has the MacBook Pro lasted before the Retina Display models arrived). A good design must be maintained, not out of obligation, but because it does not age the same and there is no compelling need to change it.
To finish and this is already personal, Apple should focus on make a mobile more compact. The top and bottom edges start to take their toll on 4,7-inch and 5,5-inch screen sizes. Let's hope that Corning, together with Apple's patent to integrate Touch ID into the screen, will allow us to definitively say goodbye to the Home button for 2016.
In short, if you are waiting to see an iPhone 6s with a 5-inch screen, do not get too illusions because if we pull the newspaper library, history tells us that this is unlikely to happen.
What do you think? Do you think Apple will launch an iPhone 6s with a larger diagonal screen or will it keep the current 4,7 inches?
one of the reasons that the iphone go very fast than most of the android's is because it does not handle any graphics in the system ...
put a 2k or 4k screen…. You will see what happens.
If the battery now lasts 3 times, with a screen like that, die of laughter.
Well, that's not entirely true. The iPhone 6 Plus renders at a resolution much higher than Full HD and then resizes to 1080p so at the GPU level, the iOS interface gives a good tute. And be careful, except in games, moving icons to fullHD or 2k does not make a beastly performance difference either.
There we have the PS4 ranking with the games at 1080p and we are going to ask a mobile to move them to 2k or 4k, we have totally lost the north.
regards
Remember guys, less is more, apple has always been able to prove it.
