We continue with the rumors about the launch of the future iPhone 8, especially regarding the usual unlocking system. Analysts pointed in recent days to the implementation of an iris scanner in the front camera, all in order to get rid of the classic Home button, something that squeaks us just a few months after Apple has converted it into a digital button. The new patent could also declare the button obsolete, and focus on another revolutionary unlocking system which aims to make our device even more secure, although honestly, I don't think anyone will be bothered by the current TouchID.

This technology is not really a TouchID as we might understand, but rather a biometric security system that we have never seen before. Apple has called it «Acoustic Imaging System Architecture », which would replace the TouchID by means of a series of sensors on the sides of the screen that, as we have understood, will capture the waves and pulses caused by the existence of a finger on the screen glass, peculiar to say the least.
However, we want to point out that it does not necessarily have to replace the TouchID, another possibility is that it perfect a vibration system that emits responses in exact points, something that Apple has been trying to achieve for a long time, an example is its Taptic Engine. We also remember that the vast majority of this type of leaks and patents usually do not lead anywhere., but rather they are only a glimpse of what the Cupertino guys have in mind, in fact Apple has a habit of patenting practically everything. The complaints about the frames of the iPhone and the little use of its front seems that they will continue to be quite valid.
