According to Ive, head of product design for the company: "Apple's goal is not to make money, but to offer good products."
When Steve Jobs rejoined Apple in 1997, his immediate goal was not to make a profit, despite the fact that the company was on the verge of bankruptcy. As Ive confessed, Steve Jobs' obsession was making products that were good and that people liked. With this maxim, Jobs led the company to the top.
"We are very satisfied with our benefits, but our goal is not to make money," Ive said. »It may be shocking, but it is the truth. Our goal and what we are excited about is making great products. If we get it, people will like it. And if we know how to do it, we will generate benefits.
