Devices for homes are getting smarter and smarter, home automation is a field in which many companies they are already making big investments, to turn our houses into smart homes.
Recently, Apple has added to its list of Connected Home devices the Ecobee3 thermostat, a smart WiFi thermostat, Apple is starting to expand this category with more products.
The Ecobee3 will have to compete with other smart thermostats such as "Nest Learning Thermostat", owned by google, Ecobee3 offers a complementary application for iOS with which you can adjust the home temperature without being in itIn general, Ecobee3 does the same as other smart thermostats.
It is capable of taking the temperature inside the different rooms, being able to adjust the temperature in those rooms that are used most frequently, in order to make them more comfortable. It can also offer you personalized statistics, reports, and energy saving highlights.
These are broadly what Ecobee3 offers us:

The price of this smart thermostat is $ 249.95, about 200 euros, is currently not available in physical Apple stores, from my point of view home automation is a business that is still very little exploited.
