Apple's Animoji will have voice effects based on the gesture

Apple continues to work on the AnimojiAlthough it seems more like the typical function that you use to indulge yourself in the first days of the terminal, but then you practically forget that it is present, at least in countries where the use of Messages is not very widespread, such as Spain and Europe in general.

Now the Animoji will allow you to add voice effects to your character based on the expressions on our face. This is one more way in which Apple wants to show us what its Face ID sensor is capable of and how much it can offer us thanks to this yet to be exploited technology.

All this in attention to a patent revealed by USPTO these days, which describes the use of the Face ID gesture capture system to link it to the voice recording system. As we can see in the diagram, first the video and audio will be captured, making an extract of the facial expression to present an Animoji, also taking into account which avatar we are using. We imagine, as the diagram shows, that if we select the dog avatar, it will show us a voice modulation similar to that which a dog "should" produce, although the explanation does not seem too complete, especially considering the curious "iPhone" they have used to record the patent.

This will be another improvement of the Animoji that we should not wait until iOS 13 at the earliest, In addition, there are many patents that we present here and that later never become reality for any reason. Patents serve rather to give us a slight idea about what Apple has in mind, but never as a definitive way to determine what Apple is going to end up doing in its next releases.
