Apple is just a week away from kicking off one of the most important events of the year: the WWDC 2021. This event brings together the thousands of developers who are responsible for giving life to the App Store with apps that save our lives for a lot of tasks throughout the day. Apple has always wanted to reward the youngest of the guild by offering them to attend the event for free. However, through a virtual event the possibility of attending for free already exists. Nonetheless, the winners of the Swift Student Challange have been defined which rewards these young developers around Apple.
Swift Student Challange: 350 Winners with a Free Annual Membership
Among this group are three young women who are not only using technology to solve real-world problems, but are also actively involved in teaching the next generation to do the same. Simultaneously they are blazing their own path while ensuring that others have the tools to follow in their footsteps, all before graduating from high school.
A few hours ago the press release was published announcing the decision of the Swift Student Challange jury. However, there is no official list with up to 350 winners from up to 35 different countries. Despite this, Apple wanted to highlight three women who have not only used technology to solve a problem in the real world. But they also participate actively in the community. This was confirmed in a Press release:
Simultaneously they are blazing their own path while ensuring that others have the tools to follow in their footsteps, all before they graduate from high school.
The winners will get One year free subscription to the Apple Developer Program. If they are not of legal age, when they reach the age of majority, they will be able to contact the big apple to redeem their prize. What's more, they will receive a jacket and a set of pins Exclusive to this WWDC 2021 that begins next June 7.
