The "Apple" brand covers (now) watches and jewelry

Apple and precious metals

The other day we were talking to you about a new concept of iWatch, Apple's supposed smart watch, which included functions already available in iOS 7 such as the Maps application, Music, Siri and of course, the Notification Center that would connect with a Wi-Fi network. -Fi or with our iDevice if we are nearby through Bluetooth. Today, MacRumors reports that the registered trademark "Apple" covers class 14 which includes the possibility of creating / trading: "precious metals, articles with precious metals, jewelery and watches". Can Apple already sell its smartwatch that would supposedly be called iWatch?

Would Apple sell precious jewelry in the future? Or just a supposed iWatch?

As reported by the English website MacRumors, Apple has just updated its trademark in the US office to a new section: section 14, which includes the following elements that we have mentioned above:

"Precious metals, articles with precious metals, jewelery and watches".

Eye! With this update of the Apple brand, the iWatch is not confirmed but they could be working on some devices that include precious metals or that are included in that section 14. Personally, I think that this new brand update means that we are facing the imminent arrival of the iWatch that would include pieces of some precious metal.

Despite this news, it seems impossible to me that Apple is planning to enter the jewelry trade with rings, high-end watches, necklaces, bracelets ... I think it is something that does not enter my head, subjectively of course.

Now, Does this "Apple" brand update make it clearer to us that you are planning to launch your smartwatch or is it simply a simple process to use precious metals in your devices and then trade them? What do you think?
