The facilities that Apple officially opened a few months ago have room for just under 15.000 employees. However, it seems that they are not enough to accommodate all that Apple has scattered around Cupertino, so it has just bought two office buildings to expand as well, incidentally, its presence in the California Bay Area.
According to The Mercury News, Apple has bought two office buildings located at the corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Torre Avenue. The amount that the company has disbursed amounts to 290 million dollars and they have already been christened Cupertino City 1 and Cupertino City 2.
The first building, Cupertino City 1, has 15.600 square meters, while the second, Cupertino City 2, covers an area of 13.500 square meters. In recent years, Apple has been buying different office spaces in the cities surrounding Sunnyvale and San Jose to accommodate more employees.
In recent months, we have seen how Apple is focusing on services, hardware aside, because iPhone sales are no longer like a few years ago. This requires more employees and new facilities to accommodate the employees that Apple is hiring for its new range of services.
Services, services and more services
Apple Card is already available in the United States officially, and at the moment we do not know when it will arrive in other countries, although some rumors suggest that it could be soon. In the next few months, Apple Arcade and Apple TV + will begin its journey, at prices of 4,99 and 9,99 euros respectively, although they have not been officially confirmed.
It is more than likely that next September 10, date planned for the presentation of the iPhone 11 and Apple Watch Series 5, the Cupertino-based company cofficially confirm the release date and price both Apple Arcade and Apple TV +.
