After many years of uncertainty And wait, Apple has announced that it will open the doors of its Apple Campus 2 in April with the name Apple Park. The idea of a huge workspace created by Steve Jobs before his death has been becoming a reality in recent years. We all thought that the great infrastructure it was going to be called Apple Campus 2 but after an extensive press release Apple has announced that its name will be Apple Park.
It will be in April when it opens the doors to more than 12.000 employees who will work on it although the construction of certain structures will remain until summer, when the new Apple campus will be completed (if all goes well): the apple park.

We cannot deny that Apple Park is a work of art. The building that so far we have called "Apple Campus 2" or the mother ship of Apple is a small city. More of 700.000 square meters of space where employees of the big apple can enjoy a large number of services, but above all they will be able to enjoy a work environment that few companies in the world can offer.
The main building is over 200.000 square meters clad, according to Apple, with the largest curved glass panels in the world. Thanks to the images offered by the big apple we can see that the result of the construction is really beautiful and according to the original model.
In honor of Steve Jobs, Apple Park will feature the Steve Jobs Theater, a cylindrical auditorium with more than 1000 seats. A glass-lined cylinder with a diameter of more than 50 meters that support a carbon fiber roof. The location of the auditorium is in one of the highest parts of Apple Park, from where you can see the main building and the entire ecosystem created around the campus.
Workspaces and parks are designed to inspire our team, as well as to benefit the environment. We have achieved one of the most energy efficient buildings in the world and the campus will be completely self-sufficient with renewable energy.
In April the first employees will begin to arrive. Will be more than 6 months the time it will take to transfer all employees, time in which it will be used to finalize construction details. The keynote from September this year or, in the worst case, a possible keynote from March 2018, is expected to take place at the new Steve Jobs Theater.
