Apple has not disappointed and, as had been commenting and waiting for a long time, at the event Unleashed has presented the third generation of its successful true wireless headphones, the third generation of AirPods. We already have them among us and below we will tell you all the news that they will bring with them in this new version.
We start with the design. Apple has shown us, as we expected, a design with reduced temples vs the previous generation, being similar to those of the Pro range. On this pin, we will find the same pressure sensor as in the AirPods Pro that will allow us to control our devices: Play, stop, next song ... A significant change for users of previous versions of AirPods that you will surely like.
Continuing with the physical part, Apple bets on this third generation with a model without rubber, without being In Ear. In this aspect, it differs little from the models that have already been filtered on social networks. We can say that, They are very similar to when we remove the silicones from the AirPods Pro, but with a different speaker. They will also bring us resistance to water and sweat in the same way as the PRO, focusing it on physical activity. Will they still be as comfortable to wear as previous generations? As for the more "internal" news that Apple incorporates to its third generation, we can start with the battery. Apple has achieved that, together with the charge that the box gives you, we can have up to 30 hours of uninterrupted listening with our AirPods. In addition, they include news regarding the load, since the box only comes in a model with wireless charging compatible with MagSafe and QI chargers in addition to providing a life of 1 hour with just 5 minutes of charge.
The third generation AirPods will be compatible with surround sound and therefore with Dolby Atmos technology existing in Apple Music in addition to incorporating a new equalizer that allows the best audio experience thanks to the fact that it will launch the sound so that we can hear it as it has been recorded, adjusting the noise that may exist. Also reducing existing distortion.
Finally, one of the best news is the price at which they will go on sale. The 3rd generation AirPods will be available for $ 179 (we hope that in Spain they will also reach € 179) while the previous generation AirPods will remain at $ 129 and the Pro will not vary in price so in this way, Apple stands out enough in this way the Pro range of the usual generation.
