The App Store already offers horizontal app images

If you are users of an iPhone 6 / 6s Plus, you know which screen of the device adapts if we place the device horizontally. While it is true that many of the applications do not adapt, many of those that Apple includes natively if they adapt. An example of what I am talking about is the App Store. As a general rule, every time an application displays images horizontally, we have to rotate the phone if we want to view them correctly, but in the case of the iPhone 6 / 6s Plus we have to lock the screen if we don't want to enter a screen rotation loop without actually viewing the image.

Earlier this month Apple began testing for allow developers to upload images horizontally for all those applications or games that can only be run in that position. The videos, another aspect that forces us to move the phone, have also been shown for several days in the correct position if they show us the content of the App Store horizontally.

During the price several Twitter users together with SlipMetrics have published images where we can see the images in a horizontal position, allowing us to view the screenshots of the applications or games without having to force us to turn heads or fight with the screen rotation of the iPhone 6 / 6s Plus.

Currently there are very few applications that combine vertical images with videos and other horizontal captures, a total nonsense on the part of Apple and that wastes a lot of space around the catches, as we see in the image above. But as I have commented, only the oldest applications are those that are showing a combination of both types of captures, which produces a rather ugly effect when we change from one capture to another.
