Apple's external headphones could be called AirPods Studio

Headphones

Rumore, rumore. This time it is the turn of the possible new external headphones that Apple could bring to the market. It would be something strange, since being the owner of the Beats headphones firm, it launched a product that will surely be very similar to one of those that the firm of said devices already has in its catalog.

It sounds more like a commercial whim than anything else. Apple must want to expand its current headphone offering. You have the AirPods, the AirPods Pro, and now you will complete your range with the….  AirPodsStudio. Name yet to be confirmed.

A few weeks ago, the supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that the rumored external Apple headphones could be going into mass production in mid-summer with a public launch in the fall.

Today Jon Prosser, host of Front Page Tech and a well-known Apple leaker, says the company will continue to call its new over-ear headphones AirPods. Apparently they will be called "AirPods Studio" and will be launched at a price of U.S. dollar 349. These helmets are rumored to feature a modular design with lightweight, breathable leather and materials.

Has posted a Spout where it explains very briefly that they will have that price, that they will be commercially called "AirPods Studio", and currently their code name is B515.

Other rumors suggest that Apple is working on the third generation of AirPods which will go into mass production in early 2021. The next generation of AirPods Pro start production in late 2021 or early 2022.

More details around Apple's helmets are unknown, but we should expect similar features found on other AirPods, such as noise cancellation and H1 chip. To get an idea, externally they will be like Beats with the processors that the AirPods currently incorporate, and the apple logo on the outside.
