Apple is testing a device manager for business

Apple Business Manager

There has always been a market that Apple has resisted, and it is the market of the corporate world.. That world in which Microsoft, IBM and other companies roam - or roam - at ease, has been a prey that Apple has not finished catching, although it seems that more and more companies are aiming to use Apple devices.

This does not mean that they are not there, nor does it mean that they do not have everything necessary for a company to use Apple devices. After the news in education, with an event and new products included, we get the news that, in a much more secretive way, Apple has released its new Apple Business Manager or Apple business manager in beta.

Apple defines it like this:

Apple Business Manager is a simple, web-based portal for enterprise IT administrators to deploy the use of iOS, macOS, and tvOS devices from one place. Apple Business Manager allows you to configure settings, create accounts for all administrators, and purchase and distribute applications and books.

In other words, is an Apple web service that allows the IT department of a company to manage the different Apple devices remotely, as many IT departments already do.

It may remind us a bit of the new Apple School Manager -the name is also similar-, well allows an administrator to manage and control devices from their own device.

The new service, or portal, is compatible with the Device Enrollment Program or the Volume Purchase Program, both available in Spain. Companies with these last two programs could move to the new Apple Business Manager.

This new platform has not yet been officially discussed, but this document makes clear the existence of this service and that it is in beta.
