To try to accelerate the development of this technology, The Cupertino-based company has joined the Partnership on AI organization, an organization made up of Amazon, Google, Facebook, IBM, and Microsoft.
This organization, which was created a few months ago, will be in charge of jointly developing artificial intelligence. All Partnership on AI components will have to share all their progress in this group in order to move more quickly in this regard. In addition, it will also be responsible for raising awareness in the community of the importance for the future of this technology, which can play a very important role in the day to day, not only of people but also of society as a whole.
The one who seems to have not invited to the party is Elon Musk, head of Tesla, SpaceX, Hyperloop ... who a few months ago announced OpenAI, another organization where any company can collaborate to develop artificial intelligence. We do not know why the most important technology companies have decided to create a different organization, but if this select group was joined by Elon Musk, who for now has shown that he can bring all his ideas to fruition, surely the development of the artificial intelligence would be faster. Although as in everything, it seems that this is going to be a competition to see who offers better results in this important as well as feared field in the future.
