Updates for our iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch are almost ready for public release after Apple released the "Release Candidate" versions of the Developer Betas this afternoon. We tell you the news.
Apple has launched iOS / iPadOS 14.4 RC (Release Candidate), the version that except last minute problems will be released to the general public shortly for Apple's smartphone and tablet, which includes the following new features:
- The camera recognizes smaller QR codes
- Option to categorize Bluetooth devices for correct headphone identification for audio notifications
- The iPhone will notify you when it recognizes that the camera is not original in the new iPhone 12
- Solution to artifacts that could appear in HDR photos of iPhone 12 Pro
- Fixed an issue that caused the Activity widget information not to be updated
- Fix for keyboard lag and word suggestions not appearing
- Fix for an issue that could cause the keyboard not to appear in the correct language within the Messages app
- Fixed an issue that caused News stories in CarPlay not to resume after receiving instructions from Maps
- Fix for Accessibility issue that could cause calls to not be answered from lock screen
Regarding the update of the Apple Watch to Watch 7.3 the main novelties included is a new adjustment that is not functional but that could start Apple's plan to add walking exercises in the final version and that will be exclusive to Fitness + subscribers. These exercises would download when the Apple Watch is connected to the charger near the iPhone, and the ones you complete will be erased automatically. Also included is a new dial inspired by the Pan-American flag that will vary throughout the day according to your movements, thus creating a unique and personalized dial.
Changes TvOS 14.4 they are not known yet, but they are expected to be minor changes, we will inform you promptly if we find something worth mentioning.
