Apple looks for good photos. Will reward the top 5

Apple photography contest

In the world of football there is a saying that every fan has a coach inside. The same thing happens with photography. Today we can ensure that each user of an iPhone has a photographer inside.

Apple is partly to blame. If their iPhones were made of iron and could drive nails with them, we would carry a carpenter inside us. The point is that each new iPhone model has a better camera than the previous one. So it costs less and less to take a good photo. Over the years, Apple is making us better photographers. And now he wants you to send him some nice snapshots.

Apple is looking for the best night mode photos taken with one of three iPhone 11 models. The top five will be used for the company's marketing campaigns, and the rights will be purchased from their owner. A photo contest, come on. Starting today, and until January 29, you have time to take your best photo in night mode, edit it if necessary and send it to Apple. A jury will choose the 5 best ones and will announce them on March 4.

The five chosen will be exhibited in a gallery in Apple Newsroom, on Apple's website, and on Apple Instagram (@apple). They can also be used by the company for advertising campaigns, whether digital or physical, such as posters or billboards.

The only conditions that snapshots must meet to be admitted to the contest is that the photo has been taken with an iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max, in night mode.

Apple gives these tips for getting the best night mode photos:

  • Night mode is activated automatically in low light environments. The yellow night mode icon should appear on the screen to inform that it is activated.
  • Night mode determines the shooting time based on the scene, and is displayed on the night mode icon. You can manually modify this time by tapping on the icon.
  • Try propping up your iPhone or use a tripod if you want to extend that time in very low light scenes.

The authors of the images will transfer their rights to the company for one year, and will be remunerated based on the use that Apple makes of the photo.

You can send your photos to compete (you can edit them) via Tweeter or Instagram using the hashtags #ShotoniPhone or #NightmodeChallenge. Via Weibo to # ShotoniPhone # or # NightmodeChallenge #. In the caption, you must indicate if your iPhone is the 11, the 11 Pro, or the 11Pro Max.

You can also email them to shotoniphone@apple.com using the filename 'First_lastname_nightmode_iPhone 11 (Pro and MAX if necessary)'.

Well, you know. If you have one of the three iPhones 11 on the market, you can start sending your photos. Luck!
