Apple Music redesigns the content available on the artists page

Custom Apple Music Playlists

The services in streaming music have evolved in recent years. Now they are a useful way to maintain direct communication between artists and their fans, in such a way that they can grant exclusive content or report important news. They have also improved the way content is displayed so that it is increasingly easy to find what we are looking for.

Apple Music has redesigned the content available on the artists page to maintain a concrete structure in all sections. Although the launch of this redesign is imminent and global, many users are still unable to enjoy it on their devices. Next we tell you all the sections available in the change of structure.

Apple Music sorts the contents of the artists' pages

Until this update, Apple Music did not distinguish between EPs, Singles and Albums. The EPs functioned as albums with a single song, which made it incomprehensible and unwieldy to manage the content downloaded to our devices. From now on, with the new content update for Apple's music service, add a section of EPs and Singles and removes them from the albums section.

From now on in the Albums section we will only find real albums, leaving the songs and singles located in a new section. Thus, we can better find the content knowing in advance what kind of music we are looking for and the format in which it was published.

This content redesign is not yet available on all devices but in the next few days it will appear as the update is global. This redesign will allow users meet new artists at a quick glance with the EPs and, later, listening to the albums located in the corresponding section.
